Trade Winds acquired a 100% interest in their wholly owned Dardanelles gold property comprising 8 claims, with an area of mutual interest to cover contiguous claims and any other claims within a one kilometre radius, which are located approximately 22 km east of Terrace, B.C. on the north side of the Copper (Zymoetz) River, Omenica Mining Division, B.C.

Continuing development on this property will follow up the results of the Company’s 2005 drill program which returned intersections of 17.85 g/t gold over 2.0 metres and 4.64 g/t gold over 1.2 metres from veins on the hanging wall of an Aplite dike. The future Dardanelles field program will consist of systematic geological mapping, surface trenching and sampling designed to determined the length of known Aplite dike/vein system and to determine if multiple dikes/veins exist as indicated from the 2005 field work. This exploration program will also target underground exploration of the 560 metres adit originally driven in the 1920’s along the known Aplite dike/vein system, including detailed mapping and sampling.
